We live in Tel Aviv, but HaTikva was an unfamiliar area for all of us. We loved the tour - great food, history, culture AND our informative, fun, energetic guide - Amir. I highly recommend this food tour for both locals and tourists! Don't try to keep a diet!

If you happen to be the kind of weirdo that gets excited by markets, you should probably know that the last hardcore market in the city is Hatikvah Market. But Shuk Hatikvah is not only the best place to buy your food products, but a combination of old and new traditions, popular music and flavors that will make you happy. If you want to take a look at this crazy neighborhood, eat very well, and do it all with wine - come and join us at this unfiltered tour in Hatikvah Market.
Ten minutes from the heart of Tel Aviv there is an alternative domain - peculiar, colorful and hypnotizing. In the last 80 years, waves of immigration have broken on the metaphorical shore of Hatikvah: from Yemen, Iraq, Libya, Persia, Central-Asia, and lately, working immigrants and refugees from Sudan, West Africa and Southeast Asia. Somehow, we all manage to get along, while creating one of Tel Aviv’s most interesting food scenes.
Hatikvah is a place that does things with its own style. We’re going to talk politics, history, urban planning and architecture, and check out how food echos all of them. Come join us on this unfiltered experience. It’s going to be pretty awesome...just saying.
So...Who are the Tour Guides?
Thought you’d never ask. Bhuka’s guides are our number one asset: a group of professionals who know how to connect a random list of places to a story and an experience. They are crazy about food, drink wine like they’re from Bordeaux and absolutely love people. Come and meet them.
